The Government of Maldives condemns the storming and vandalism of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Khartoum, Sudan, in addition to sabotaging the residences of Saudi staff working in the embassy which violate the sanctity and safety of the headquarters of diplomatic missions and their employees.

The Government of Maldives expresses its strong support to the continuous efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reach a comprehensive political solution to end the crisis in Yemen.

The Government of Maldives strongly condemns the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces on Tuesday night, and the attack on Palestinian worshipers, causing injury to worshipers and destruction to the mosque during this holy month of Ramadan.
