Minister Shahid sends National Day greetings to Singapore
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid sends warm greetings and good wishes to His Excellency Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, on the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Singapore.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I wish to extend, on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and on my own behalf, warm greetings and sincere good wishes to your Excellency, the Government, and the People of Singapore on the joyous occasion of Singapore's National Day.
Maldives and Singapore continue to enjoy a very close relationship based on mutual respect and trust. I look forward to enhancing our relations further and to meeting Your Excellency again soon.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health, and further progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Singapore.”
