The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends message of felicitations to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, James Marape, MP, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Papua New Guinea.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and my own behalf, I extend warm greetings to Your Excellency and the people of Papua New Guinea as you celebrate your Independence Day.
I am confident that as fellow SIDS with similar challenges, the cooperation between the Maldives and Papua New Guinea will continue to strengthen in the years ahead.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration as well as sincere wishes for your continued good health and everlasting prosperity of your people.”
