The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, on his appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to convey warm congratulations on Your Excellency’s appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The Maldives and Cambodia have always enjoyed warm and friendly relations based on mutual respect and trust. I am confident that the friendly relations and cooperation that exist between our two countries will be further strengthened during your term of office.
I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency, and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia in deepening our friendship, strengthening our ties, and broadening our cooperation based on our shared values.
