Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon has met with the Delegation of Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) this morning. During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning, the Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for the continuous positive engagement from the Commonwealth through CMAG to the Maldives. Foreign Minister also noted that Maldives as a country in the midst of democratic consolidation, has always enlisted the help of its international partners to strengthen the democratic institution.

A Delegation of Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) led by the Vice- Chair of CMAG His Excellency Mr Carl Greenidge, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guyana, has arrived in Maldives today to an invitation extended by the Government of the Maldives. The Delegation was received at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Ms. Dunya Maumoon.
