The Government of Maldives strongly condemns the two ballistic missile attacks aimed towards Saudi Arabia's capital city of Riyadh, on 06 December 2021.
The continuation of such deplorable acts of terrorism exhibits the elevated threat to the stability of the region, and indicates the urgent need for constructive engagement by the parties concerned to find peaceful solutions to the conflicts.
The Government of Maldives reaffirms its solidarity with the brotherly people and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reiterates its steadfast commitment to the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
