The Government of Maldives strongly condemns the bomb-laden unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack towards Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the evening of 30 August 2020, targeting innocent civilians.
Continuation of such acts of terrorism towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, negatively impact the efforts by the concerned parties and the international community to find peaceful solutions to conflicts in the region.
The Government of Maldives reaffirms its solidarity with the Government and brotherly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reiterates its steadfast commitment to the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
