The newly appointed Ambassador of Hellenic Republic to Maldives calls on the Minister of Foreign Affairs
The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Dimitrios Loannou has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid, today.
Minister Shahid welcomed Ambassador Loannou and congratulated him on presenting credentials as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Greece to Maldives. Minister Shahid expressed his confidence that the relationship and cooperation that exists between the Maldives and Greece would continue to strengthen in the years to come.
Ambassador Loannou expressed his willingness to work together with the Government of Maldives to strengthen the relations in the bilateral and multilateral fora.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Ahmed Latheef, Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary Economic Cooperation Dr. Hussain Niyaaz, Joint Secretary Shiuneen Rasheed and Chief General Service Officer Lujaina Thasneema.
