Newly appointed Ambassador of Serbia to the Maldives calls on Foreign Minister Shahid
The newly appointed Ambassador of Serbia to the Maldives, His Excellency Sinisa Pavic paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Shahid congratulated Ambassador Pavic on his appointment as Ambassador of Serbia to the Maldives.
Minister Shahid and Ambassador Pavic strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations between the Maldives and Serbia and emphasized the need for further cooperation to expand economic ties between the two countries, including increasing trade and investment.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Ahmed Latheef, Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary Economic Cooperation Dr. Hussain Niyaaz, Joint Secretary Shiuneen Rasheed and Director Adam Hamid.
