Newly appointed Ambassador of Mongolia to the Maldives calls on Foreign Minister Shahid
The newly appointed Ambassador of Mongolia to the Maldives, Ganbold Dambajav, paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid today, following the Presentation of Credentials to His Excellency President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.
During the meeting held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Shahid congratulated Ambassador Dambajav on his appointment and exchanged views on further strengthening the existing bilateral relations between the Maldives and Mongolia. Including signing of a visa exemption agreement between the two countries. Both Minister Shahid and Ambassador Dambajav also reaffirmed their commitment to continue working closely in the multilateral arena.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Ahmed Latheef, Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary Economic Cooperation Dr. Hussain Niyaaz, Additional Secretary Amin Javed Faizal, Senior Under Secretary Fathimath Naeema and Assistant Director Khadeejath Nizwee Rasheed.
