Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulla Khaleel is in Doha, Qatar, to participate at the 23rd Edition of the Doha Forum 2025, scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar, from 6 – 7 December 2025.
The Doha Forum is one of the world’s leading policy platforms, bringing together heads of state, ministers, policymakers, and experts to discuss diplomacy, governance, development, and global security. Now in its 23rd edition, the Forum remains an important venue for addressing new global challenges, encouraging dialogue, and promoting practical, cooperative solutions.
As an invited speaker, Minister Khaleel will join the roundtable titled “Upholding International Justice Systems and the Rule of Law,” which will bring together global leaders and experts to discuss the role of international justice in promoting peace, accountability, and the rule of law amidst an increasingly complex global landscape.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Minister Dr. Khaleel will hold discussions with counterparts and senior officials from participating countries and international organisations to further strengthen the Maldives’ international partnerships and advance areas of cooperation.
The Maldives’ participation in the Doha Forum underscores the Government’s continued commitment to constructive multilateral engagement and meaningful contributions to global dialogue on governance, justice, and international cooperation.
Minister Dr. Khaleel is accompanied by Additional Secretary Khadeeja Najeeha, Charge d' Affaires at the Embassy of Maldives in Doha Mohamed Didi, Joint Secretary Ms. Mariyam Midhfa Naeem and Second Secretary Mohamed Thahseen at the Embassy of Maldives In Doha.
