The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has sent a message of felicitations to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani on the occasion of Qatar’s National Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, as well as my own behalf, I wish to extend warm felicitations and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Qatar on the auspicious occasion of your National Day.
The Maldives deeply values its close and fraternal relations with the State of Qatar which is built on shared values, mutual respect, and a longstanding spirit of friendship. I am confident that our ties will continue to grow through cooperation and collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
Let me take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being and for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar.
