The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel sends message of felicitations to Bendito dos Santos Freitas،, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, on the joyous occasion of their Independence Restoration Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government, and the people of the Republic of Maldives, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government, the people of Timor-Leste, on the joyous occasion of your Independence Restoration Day.
As a fellow Small Island Developing States (SIDS), I am confident that the friendly ties between our two countries will continue to flourish both bilaterally and in the multilateral fora.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration”.
