Director-General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan pays a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary
Director-General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Nakamura Ryo, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning, Foreign Secretary Inaya extended a warm welcome to Director-General Ryo, underscoring the enduring strength of the Maldives-Japan partnership and the significant people-to-people connections that serve as the foundation of the relationship.
Foreign Secretary Inaya and Director General Ryo reflected on the close historical relationship between Maldives and Japan and exchanged views on key areas of bilateral and multilateral interest. Both Foreign Secretary and Director General reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance the partnership bilaterally, through economic and development cooperation and in the international fora.
