Ambassador of Poland to Maldives pays a farewell call on Minister Shahid
The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Maldives, Adam Burakowski, paid a farewell call on Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid, today.
Foreign Minister Shahid congratulated the Ambassador on the completion of his successful tenure and expressed appreciation for his role in strengthening the bilateral ties between Maldives and Poland. Both Minister Shahid and Ambassador Burakowski reviewed some of the key bilateral cooperation areas between the two countries, including trade and economic ties, tourism cooperation, education, Maldives-EU partnership, Schengen visa facilitation, and multilateral issues of mutual importance.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by State Minister Ahmed Khaleel, Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed, Joint Secretary Shiuneen Rasheed and Assistant Director Fathmath Lamya Imthiyaz.
