Vice Minister International Department, Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China arrives in Maldives on an official visit
Vice Minister International Department, Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China, Her Excellency Sun Haiyan arrived in the Maldives today on an Official Visit from 21-23 January 2024, at the invitation of His Excellency Moosa Zameer, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives.
This visit comes in the wake of the recent successful state visit to China by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives.
Vice Minister Sun Haiyan was received at the Velana International Airport by Her Excellency Sheryna Abdul Samad, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
During her visit, Vice Minister Sun Haiyan will pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Mohamed Aslam, Speaker of the Parliament and His Excellency, Moosa Zameer Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Vice Minister Sun Haiyan will also attend a donation ceremony on 22 January 2024, hosted by the A.Dh. Mahibadhoo Council.
