The newly appointed High Commissioner of Zambia to the Maldives, Percy Patson Chanda paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer today, following the Presentation of Credentials by the High Commissioner to the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Zameer congratulated High Commissioner Chanda on his appointment and exchanged views on further strengthening the engagement between the Maldives and Zambia, in areas of mutual interest. Both, Minister Zameer and High Commissioner Chanda also reaffirmed their commitment to also continue working closely in the multilateral arena.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by Her Excellency Fathimath Inaya, Foreign Secretary, Her Excellency Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary, Bilateral, Mr. Ahmed Fazeel, Director and Ms. Fathmath Layana Ihusan, Deputy Desk Officer.
