The newly appointed Ambassador of the France to Maldives calls on the Minister of Foreign Affairs

The newly appointed Ambassador of France to the Maldives, His Excellency Jean-François Pactet paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid, today.

Minister Shahid welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated him on presenting credentials to His Excellency President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. During the meeting Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid and Ambassador Jean-François Pactet focused on various issues of mutual interest such as trade, tourism and collaboration on global challenges and reiterated their commitment to enhancing the existing friendly relations between the two countries.

Minister Shahid was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Ahmed Latheef, Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary Economic Cooperation Dr. Hussain Niyaaz, Joint Secretary Shiuneen Rasheed and Assistant Director Fathmath Lamya Imthiyaz.
