The newly appointed Ambassador of Eritrea to the Maldives, Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer today, following the Presentation of Credentials by the Ambassador to the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Zameer congratulated Ambassador Woldemariam on his appointment and exchanged views on further strengthening the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Eritrea by increasing cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Both Minister Zameer and Ambassador Woldemariam also reaffirmed their commitment to continue working closely in the multilateral arena.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by Her Excellency Fathimath Inaya, Foreign Secretary, Her Excellency Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary, Bilateral, Mr. Ahmed Fazeel, Director and Ms. Mizna Waheed, Chief General Service Officer.
