The Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Moosa Zameer will undertake an Official visit to Colombo, Sri Lanka at the invitation of His Excellency M.U.M. Ali Sabry, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka from 3 – 6 June 2024.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Zameer is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Ranil Wickremesinghe, President of Sri Lanka and His Excellency, Dinesh Gunawardena, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka. Minister Zameer will also hold bilateral talks with His Excellency M.U.M. Ali Sabry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and explore avenues to further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries. In addition to this, the meeting will discuss the provision of convenient facilities to the Maldivians residing in Sri Lanka.
Minister Zameer will be accompanied by Her Excellency Sheryna Abdul Samad, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency, Shiruzimath Sameer, Additional Secretary and Ms. Aishath Fareena, Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
