The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic Paraguay to the Maldives, Fleming Raul Duarte Ramos paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel today, following the presentation of his letter of credence to His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Dr. Khaleel congratulated Ambassador Ramos on the presentation of his letter of credence to His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu yesterday and expressed interest to further strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Ramos expressed his sincere gratitude to the Foreign Minister and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the bilateral relations between Paraguay and the Maldives during his tenure.
Minister Dr. Khaeel was accompanied by Secretary Dr. Hala Hameed, State Minister Dr. Mariyam Zulfa, Senior Under Secretary Hassan Hussain Shihab and Assistant Director Fathimath Zeyna Abdulla Saeed.
