The newly appointed Ambassador of Lithuania to the Maldives, Diana Mickevičienė paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, today, following the presentation of her letter of credence to His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, Minister Zameer congratulated Ambassador Mickevičienė on the presentation of her letter of credence to His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office today.
Ambassador Mickevičienė offered her thanks to the Foreign Minister, as well as assuring him of her commitment to increasing collaborative opportunities between Maldives and Lithuania during her tenure.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed, Senior Under Secretary Hassan Hussain Shihab, Senior Political Director Ahmed Haanee Naeem and Chief Desk Officer Aminath Shaistha Hamdan Zaki.
