The newly appointed Ambassador of Chile to the Maldives, Juan Angulo paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, today, following the presentation of his letter of credence to the President of the Republic of Maldives, Dr Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, Minister Zameer congratulated Ambassador Angulo on the presentation of his letter of credence to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
Ambassador Angulo expressed his gratitude to the Foreign Minister and assured him of his commitment to fostering more collaborative opportunities with the Maldives during his tenure.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by Foreign Secretary, Fathimath Inaya, Secretary, Bilateral, Dr Hala Hameed, Senior Under Secretary, Hassan Hussain Shihab, Assistant Director, Fathimath Zeyna Abdulla Saeed and Desk Officer, Saifulla Waleed.
