The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the Republic of Maldives, Dr Victor Hugo Echeverri Jaramillo, made a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Moosa Zameer, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Zameer congratulated Ambassador Echeverri on his appointment as the new Ambassador of Colombia to the Maldives and expressed interest to further strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Minister Zameer and Ambassador Echeverri also reassured their commitment to enhance cooperation in the multilateral arena.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Secretary, Bilateral Dr Hala Hameed, Senior Under Secretary Hassan Hussain Shihab and Assistant Director Fathimath Zeyna Abdulla Saeed.
