Minister Zameer sends Independence Day greetings to the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Samoa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moosa Zameer sends message of felicitations to Fiamē Naomi Mata'afa, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Independent State of Samoa, on the occasion of their Independence Day.

Minister’s message reads as follows:

“It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and sincere good wishes of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and on my own behalf, to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Samoa, on your Independence Day. 

As we gear up for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Apia later this year, I remain confident in Samoa’s able leadership to drive the agenda on issues of mutual concern and on shared priorities. I am also confident that the relations between the Maldives and Samoa will continue to prosper and flourish in the years to come.

Let me extend my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being, and for further peace and prosperity for the people of Samoa.
