The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moosa Zameer sends message of felicitations to His Excellency Roberto Álvarez Gil, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Dominican Republic.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Maldives, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Dominican Republic on the occasion of your Independence Day.
As Small Island Developing States, the Maldives and the Dominican Republic share similar vulnerabilities and challenges. I am eager to strengthen our bilateral and multilateral relations to effectively address these shared concerns.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and for further progress and prosperity of the people of the Dominican Republic and the assurances of my highest consideration".
