The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Moosa Zameer sends felicitations to the Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Enrique A. Manalo on their 126th Independence Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Philippines, on the joyous occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines.
Over the past decades Maldives and the Philippines have enjoyed enduring bilateral ties based on mutual respect and trust. Today as we approach the fiftieth year of our formal bilateral relations, it is my sincere hope to enhance our engagement, including exploring new avenues to enhance cooperation that will benefit both our countries.
Let me also take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and success, and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of the Philippines".
