Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid paid a visit to the Chancery building of the High Commission of the Republic of Maldives in New Delhi, this morning.
On arrival to the Chancery, Minister Shahid was welcomed by High Commissioner of Maldives to India, Ibrahim Shaheeb. During the visit Minister Shahid met the staff and took stock of the work carried out by the Mission. Minister Shahid expressed appreciation for the contribution by staff towards strengthening bilateral partnership between Maldives and India. Following the meeting Minister Shahid toured the premises.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by Secretary Bilateral, Dr. Hala Hameed, Joint Secretary Abdul Waris Saeed, and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Minister Shahid is on an Official Visit to India.
