Minister Shahid sends Pakistan Day greetings to Pakistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sent a message of felicitations to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On the joyous occasion of Pakistan Day, I extend warm felicitations and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Pakistan, on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives.
The strong links of brotherhood and friendship between the Maldives and Pakistan are founded on our common religion, values and mutual respect. I am convinced that our two nations will continue to work together to advance our mutually important bilateral, regional and international interests.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and for peace and prosperity for the people of Pakistan, and the assurances of my highest consideration”.
