Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of greetings to Catherine Colonna, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, on the festive occasion of the National Day of France.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, I am delighted to extend warm wishes to Your Excellency, the People and the Government of the French Republic on the joyous occasion of the National Day of France on the 14th of July.
The Maldives values the enduring friendship and collaborative partnership we share with France, spanning over 54 years of diplomatic relations. We look forward to strengthening our ties even further as we address present challenges and embrace future opportunities together.
