The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, H. E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid has sent a message expressing condolences to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, following the passing of His Highness’ beloved brother, His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It is with deep sorrow that I heard the news of the passing of Your Highness’ beloved brother, His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today.
At this time of immense personal grief for Your Highness and family, let me covey my sincere condolences to Your Highness and wish you strength and courage to bear this loss. May the memories of His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan help Your Highness and the Royal Family find comfort and solace at this difficult time. The people of the Maldives join me in our prayers for Your Highness’ beloved brother.
I pray to Almighty Allah to accept His Highness’ good deeds and grant him the highest ranks of Jannah.”
