Minister Shahid sends a message of condolence to the Foreign Minister of Indonesia
Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Abdulla Shahid sent a message of condolence to Her Excellency Retno L.P. Marsudi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, following the loss of lives at Kanjuruhan Stadium tragedy in Malang - East Java, Indonesia.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the tragic loss of lives at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang - East Java, Indonesia.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives, I extend our profound sympathies to the Government and the people of Indonesia, especially to the families who lost their loved ones.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, and all affected by the tragedy, and we wish for the quick recovery of the injured.”
