Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer concludes his Official Visit to Sri Lanka

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer has concluded his Official Visit to Sri Lanka from 3 – 6 June 2024. The visit aimed to enhance bilateral ties between the Maldives and Sri Lanka.
 
During the visit, Minister Zameer paid a courtesy call on President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and reviewed the existing relationship between the two countries and explored avenues for further cooperation. Minister Zameer conveyed optimism about enhancing collaboration and strengthening diplomatic relations in the near future.

Foreign Minister Zameer  met with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka Ali Sabry, and held bilateral talks, to further strengthen the already strong relations between the two countries.

Minister Zameer visited the High Commission of Maldives in Sri Lanka and met with the staff. Minister also interacted with the Maldivian community residing in Sri Lanka.

Minister Zameer was accompanied by State Minister, Sheryna Abdul Samad, Additional Secretary, Shiruzimath Sameer, and, Director General, Aishath Fareena.
