The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel arrives in Sri Lanka today, on an Official Visit at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of Sri Lanka, Honourable Vijitha Herath, MP. Upon arrival in Colombo, Minister Dr. Khaleel was received by Honourable Arun Hemachandra, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of Sri Lanka.
During this official visit, Minister Dr. Khaleel will hold official talks with Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka on 19 February 2025. In addition, Minister Dr. Khaleel will pay courtesy calls on, President of Sri Lanka, Honourable Anura Kumara Disanayake and Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Honourable Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
Minister Dr. Khaleel is also scheduled to meet with Maldivian community in Sri Lanka and key officials of the Government of Sri Lanka and hold an interactive dialogue with representatives from the business community of Sri Lanka.
Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel is accompanied by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya and Additional Secretary Aminath Abdulla Didi.
