Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel sends National Day greetings to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium, Maxime Prévot.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It is my great pleasure to convey warm greetings and sincere felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the People of the Kingdom of Belgium on the joyous occasion of your National day.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1977, the Maldives and Belgium have continued to enjoy close and cordial relationship, underpinned by mutual respect, understanding and goodwill. We have continued to cooperate on a range of issues of mutual importance both in the bilateral and multilateral fora.
I remain committed to working closely with Your Excellency, in the efforts to further strengthen the mutual relations between our two countries and I am confident that our partnership will continue to blossom in the years ahead.
