The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has sent a message of felicitation to His Excellency Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, in connection with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Maldives and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the joyous occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Maldives and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The close and cordial relations between the Maldives and Vietnam have continued to prosper over the years marked by close cooperation and friendship. I hope to continue working closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen our bilateral cooperation and deepen our friendship for the mutual benefit of the peoples of our two countries.
Please accept, Excellency, my personal best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Vietnam.”
