The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, arrived in India this morning on an official visit. He was received at Indira Gandhi International Airport by High Commissioner of the Maldives to India, Aishath Azeema and senior officials of the Ministry of External Affairs.
Minister Dr. Khaleel will be attending the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, which will be inaugurated this evening by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The chief guest of this years Raisina event is Prime Minister of New Zealand, Christopher Luxon.
As a panelist in the session titled “Climate Cataclysm: The Adaptation Agenda is Gasping”, Minister Dr. Khaleel will contribute to discussions on urgent climate adaptation challenges and global responses.
On the sidelines of the conference, Minister Dr. Khaleel will engage in bilateral discussions with Minister of External Affairs of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar, along with several other visiting Foreign Ministers.
