The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel sends a message of felicitations to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Racing, and Minister of Rail of New Zealand, Winston Peters, on the occasion of Waitangi Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Maldives, and on my own behalf, I would like to offer warm greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of New Zealand, as you mark the anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi.
The Maldives deeply appreciates its close and longstanding relationship with New Zealand, founded on mutual respect and shared principles. I am confident that our bilateral ties will continue to strengthen and evolve in the years ahead.
I also extend my best wishes for your good health, well-being, and continued prosperity for the people of New Zealand.
