Foreign Minister Dr. Khaleel sends Waitangi Day greetings to the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of New Zealand

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel sends a message of felicitations to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Racing of New Zealand, Winston Peters, on the occasion of Waitangi Day.

Minister’s message reads as follows:

“On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Maldives, and on my own behalf, I would like to offer warm greetings and heartfelt best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of New Zealand, as you mark the anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi.

Maldives values its strong partnership with New Zealand, rooted in mutual trust, shared values, and enduring friendship. I am confident that the friendship and cooperation between our nations will continue to grow in the years ahead.

I also extend my best wishes for your good health, well-being, and continued prosperity for the people of New Zealand.
