The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel sends message of felicitations to Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Independent State of Samoa, on the occasion of their Independence Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives, and on my own behalf, I wish to extend warm greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Samoa on your Independence Day.
As fellow Small Island Developing States, Maldives and Samoa enjoy close relations. I take this opportunity to reaffirm my commitment to working with Your Excellency to further enhance the bonds of friendship and cooperation between our two nations.
