His Excellency Mohamed Khaleel, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has presented his Letter of Credence to His Excellency Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, as the Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Maldives to the State of Kuwait, at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait today.
During the ceremony, the Foreign Minister of Kuwait congratulated Ambassador Khaleel on the commencement of his term and wished him success in performing his duties as the Non-Resident Ambassador. Ambassador Khaleel expressed gratitude to the Government of the State of Kuwait for the longstanding and close relationship with the Government of Maldives and conveyed greetings and warm facilitations from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to the Amir, the Government and the brotherly people of Kuwait. He also expressed his commitment to fostering the existing bilateral relations and close cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Khaleel was accompanied by Ms. Badoora Saeed, Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
