Medical equipment donated to the Maldives by well-wishers from Singapore has arrived in Maldives this evening in a Maldivian Cargo flight from Bangkok, Thailand. The equipment will help the country in the fight against COVID-19 virus.
The generous donations that arrived today include 15 AUTO BiPAP non-invasive ventilators donated by Mr. Ong Ben Seng of Hotel Properties Limited of Singapore and 5000 face masks donated by Mr. Ng Swan Meen and Mr. Joseph Ng from Hiap Huat Paints Co of Singapore.
Furthermore, Mr. Ong Ben Seng has also donated 150,000 face masks, which is expected to reach the Maldives on the 2nd week of May 2020.
The Government has extended its deep appreciation to those who donated this timely assistance towards the Maldivian people during this challenging time.
