The President and First Lady arrive in Türkiye on an official visit
On Sunday evening, H.E. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and H.E. First Lady Sajidha Mohamed arrived in the Republic of Türkiye on an official visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Upon arrival at Ankara Esenboga Airport, the President and the First Lady were greeted by senior officials of Türkiye.
During the visit, the President is scheduled to meet the President of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other senior government officials to explore potential areas for mutual collaboration and enhance the diplomatic ties between the two countries. A high-level delegation is accompanying the President and the First Lady on the visit.
The President will arrive in the Maldives after attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference - COP 28, to be held in the United Arab Emirates on November 30, 2023.
