The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Djibouti, Issé Abdillah Assoweh, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer today, following the Presentation of Credentials by the Ambassador to the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Zameer congratulated Ambassador Assoweh on his appointment and expressed his hope to work closely together on areas of mutual interest between the Maldives and Djibouti.
Ambassador Assoweh offered assurances of his commitment to further strengthening the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Djibouti.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by Foreign Secretary, Fathimath Inaya, Secretary, Bilateral, Dr. Hala Hameed, Joint Secretary, Mariyam Reesha and Assistant Director, Mizna Waheed.
