Minister congratulated His Excellency Admiral Ether Mukhtar, on his appointment as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Maldives
The newly appointed High Commissioner of Pakistan to Maldives, His Excellency Vice Admiral Ather Mukhtar called on Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid, today. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shortly after High Commissioner Mukhtar presented his letter of credence to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid congratulated His Excellency Admiral Ether Mukhtar, on his appointment as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Maldives.
Foreign Minister Shahid expressed hope that the bilateral ties and collaboration between the Maldives and the brotherly nation of Pakistan would be further strengthened during High Commissioner Mukhtar’s tenure. Both Minister Shahid and the High Commissioner Mukhtar also discussed existing collaboration, and to enhance people to people relations between the two countries. High Commissioner Mukhtar assured his commitment to working closely with the Government of Maldives to further diversify the collaboration between the two countries.
