The Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Maged Mosleh Nafei paid a farewell call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Moosa Zameer this morning.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Zameer congratulated the Ambassador on the successful completion of his tenure and expressed gratitude for his dedication and commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship between the Maldives and Egypt.
Ambassador Maged Mosleh thanked the Government of Maldives for the support and cooperation extended during his term and expressed hope for strengthened ties between the two countries in the future.
Both Minister Zameer and Ambassador Mosleh reflected on key areas of bilateral engagement between the two countries, including health, education and religious affairs. Discussions also focused on seeking new avenues for cooperation, as well as the exchange of people-to-people interactions between the two countries.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by Foreign Secretary, H.E. Fathimath Inaya, Joint Secretary, Ms. Mariyam Reesha and Assistant Director, Ms. Mizna Waheed.
