State Minister meets Ambassador of Norway
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Khaleel meets Ambassador of Norway to the Maldives, Trine Jøranli Eskedal, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Minister Khaleel and Ambassador Eskedal discussed avenues for further enhancing bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries.
State Minister Khaleel noted the close assistance provided by Norway in the multilateral arena, and thanked Norway for the close cooperation provided to AOSIS in this regard.
Ambassador Eskedal thanked the Maldives for supporting Norway's mutlilateral endeavours and reiterated Norway's commitment to further enhancing trade and bilateral relations between the Maldives and Norway.
Ambassador Eskedal was accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission, Hilde Berg-Hansen and Senior Political Adviser, Thilini Kahandawaarachchi.
State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Joint Secretary, Shiuneen Rasheed and Assistant Director, Hussain Azhaan Mohamed Hussain.
