26 May 2014; President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has attended the inauguration ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The inauguration ceremony was held this evening at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
President Yameen will meet with Prime Minister Narendra tomorrow, whereby bilateral relations between the Maldives and India, as well as investment opportunities available in the Maldives will be discussed.
The President will also call on President Pranab Mukherjee.
