26th August 2012, Male'; The President of Maldives His Excellency Dr Mohamed Waheed arrived Male' last night after concluding the State visit to Sri Lanka. First Lady Madam Ilham Hussain was accompanied the President during his 2 days visit to Sri Lanka.
In his visit, the President Waheed met with the Diplomatic Corps and major business leaders in Sri Lanka. Before concluding the State visit, President also met with the Maldivian Community based in Sri Lanka at the Hilton Hotel, Colombo.
During the visit, the President was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdul Samad Abdulla, Minister of Economic Development Ahmed Mohamed, Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor, Minister of Environment and Energy Dr Mariyam Shakeela and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ms Dunya Maumoon.
