06th October 2013, Male'; The Ambassador of the United States to the Maldives Michele J. Sison, British High Commissioner John Rankin, German Ambassador Dr Jürgen Morhard and the Ambassador of Norway Grete Løchen has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed.
The meeting was held today at the President's Office.
At the meeting, discussions were focused on the issues regarding this year's presidential elections.
Ambassadors conveyed their appreciation to the government of Maldives for their contributions made to ensure the elections is held on 9th November.
President Waheed expressed hopes of a credible and successful election this November. He further assured that he would facilitate everything to ensure smooth electoral process.
